Nicole's
Oceanview Restaurant and Terrace Bar features an international
cuisine with Nicole's unique twist. In addition to being one
of the oldest (and many locals say "the best") restaurants
in the area, Nicole's cooking has been highlighted in several
European travel guides with seafood and steaks as her speciality.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are
served daily. You may choose from two different meal plans: all-inclusive
or a la carte. "...found hours of
good and personal talks and discussions, wonderful meals prepared
with the love of a mother and all the help I needed to find my
way in this foreign country." Sicco Pleuger, Cologne, Germany.
Nicole’s has been serving
good food continuously since 1988. There's always a wide choice
of entrees on our menu and the portions are generous. Vegetarian
and other special diets are also welcomed. Fresh salads with
Nicole’s homemade vinaigrette dressing are a meal in themselves.
Most noteworthy is her filet mignon
featuring fresh, local beef that she ages and prepares to mouth-watering,
tender perfection. Other culinary delights include fresh seafood
caught that day, different daily entrees, homemade breads and sinfully
delicious, homemade desserts. Her crepes stuffed with ice cream
and fruits are especially tasty!
Thanks for
a wonderful stay and for a great deal of very helpful information
about the island- not forgetting the best food in the Dominican
Republic." Polly & Charles Damen, London, England.
Menu offerings vary according to market
availability with only the finest and freshest foods personally
chosen (that's her in the picture) for her kitchen - she's very
picky!
An added feature is Capt. Andy’s
BBQ grill. The aroma of grilled steaks, chicken and pork ribs slathered
in Nicole’s special Creole sauce is sure to tempt the most
discerning tastebuds as does a grill full of fresh lobster brushed
with limey, garlic butter. Yummy!
A complimentary continental breakfast with Nicole’s
homemade bread and her chunky fruit marmalade comes with every
room. For the light appetite there’s a Continental breakfast
with toast and coffee or tea. And for the
hearty appetite our optional, full-American breakfast with plenty of rich, Dominican coffee is a great way to start the day in our island paradise.
You always have your choice of eggs, pancakes, French toast or crepes with bacon, ham or sausage, home fried potatoes, toast and marmalade, fresh fruit, juice and coffee or tea; there’s even cereal and milk for the kids.
